Focus on exercise than food for weight loss

It is a matter of debate, and it is going on for years; however, the opposite is true. The reason is that dieting is more effective than exercise since it takes a lot of activity for creating 500 to 700 daily calorie deficits that you will require for losing a kilo in a week by doing exercise.

However, it does not mean that exercise is not important, but you must also eat well when on the road to losing weight.

Don’t eat before bedtime to prevent weight gain

You don’t have to take this advice seriously as some studies suggest just the opposite. Eating some snacks right before bedtime will make you feel satiated, and you will eat less overall.

There is no significant data that supports that eating before sleep can promote weight gain or weight loss. Hence, if you are hungry, you can eat to add some fuel to your body.

Alzheimer’s is always genetics

We have heard often that if any of our family members had Alzheimer’s disease, then it can increase your risk of getting it too. However, it is not entirely true since other factors can also play a crucial role in the development of this disease.

Lifestyle factors play a significant role in developing this disease. You can manage or prevent the issue with the help of diet, exercise, and sleep, which can slow down or stave off the brain degeneration that is related to Alzheimer’s.

Consume sports drink to get rid of hangover

Sports drinks might help you to get hydrated, and some of them can replace the electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, chloride, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium and help in regulating fluids levels in the body. However, a hangover is not linked to electrolyte imbalance. Sports drinks might help you to rehydrate, but it won’t help you to cure your hangover.

Don’t worry about the flu shot

If someone tells you that the flu vaccine is not important, it’s completely wrong. The flu shot can prevent flu and a few other conditions for years and lowers the risk of complications of developing a serious disease. Hence, you should get your flu shot.
