Children are also prone to the issue of anxiety-like adults, as well. Children have to encounter with a lot of new things like learning new things, overcoming fears, confronting new challenges, and navigating in the world, which does not make sense.

It is becoming a common problem for the kids in today’s date, and around one in every eight children is affected by the problem. Kids can get affected by different types of anxiety issues, which can hamper their mental and physical development as well.

Generalized anxiety disorder

In case your child is going through issues like excessive anxiety or worry that leads to fatigue, muscle tension, irritability, difficulty in concentrating, and sleep disturbances, they may be having a generalised anxiety disorder.

It can be worry regarding friendships, school performance, family issues, and other activities.

Separation anxiety disorder

Some children can also suffer from the issue of separation anxiety, especially in children between 1-3 years old. However, in older children, they might have excessive fear or anxiety about being separated from parents and caregivers, which is a sign of separation anxiety disorder.

Kids with this problem may refuse to go to school, have nightmares regarding separation, and have physical symptoms like headaches and nausea.

Specific phobia

Some kids might show fear or anxiety related to a specific object or circumstance. If this fear remains for a long time and is out of proportion to the actual danger posed, this type of fear is classified as a phobia.

You can talk to your doctor for the medications of anxiety issue in your child but for adults you can easily get the medication on anxiety, depression and insomnia easily.
