This will also get transferred to any other mosquito which is not carrying the virus. If the case of dengue gets serious, it can even result in dengue hemorrhagic fever or DHF. 
While normal dengue is usually flu-like, dengue hemorrhagic fever can be fatal. The virus of DHF can cause leaky blood vessels, circulatory failure, shock, and death. Thus, it is essential to prevent the ailment of dengue from occurring and avoid its harmful consequences.
