How To Contain The Problem Of Farting

Farting is considered to be a disgusting and embarrassing thing for the people even though it is a natural digestive process.

Everyone farts and technically it is signs that the digestive cycle of your body is working the exact way like it should do. But farting in public and doing it continuously is considered a manner-less thing and many people get shammed for it as well.

It is mainly because of a stinky odour that comes along the gas of fart that comes from your butt.  Some farts are noisy and some so silent that no one even notices it until the odour strikes.

Farting cannot be stopped completely, but there are ways to control it. If you are also bothered by the issue of constant farting, then here are some ways that you can opt for controlling it.

Eat your meals slowly and carefully

The majority of gas that is produced in your body is formed when air is also swallowed in. A person cannot totally avoid swallowing of air but can opt for certain habits that can prevent excess air from entering the body.

Eating slowly with your mouth closed will prevent the entry of excess air while swallowing your food at mealtimes. You try to sit and eat your food slowly rather swallowing it hurriedly.

Don’t eat chewing gum

If you are a perennial farter then chewing gums may not be good for you. Many people do that for keeping their breath fresh and avoid snacking. But it also allows plenty of air to be swallowed in which can increase the number of times a person farts.

Look for food tolerance and allergies.

Certain food can cause an allergic reaction in you like bloating, acidity, nausea, and diarrhoea. It often leads to the formation of gas and other unpleasant symptoms in your stomach that result in farting. So, if you are allergic to any food, avoid having that.
