All these are further complicated with their biological process, social responsibilities, and unique response of females to stress.
This happens in many women who are out there for working or in pursuit of making a career for themselves. Depression can leave the women drained of energy completely and even have a negative impact on their efficiency and performance at work.
The pressure is immense, especially on married women, where they need to strike a balance between work life and responsibilities of the family and kids.

·       Angry, irritated and restless feeling

·       Trouble in concentrating, making decisions and remembering things

Harassment at the workplace, like sexual and verbal, can also aggravate the issue of depression in women. The long working hours compel the women to stay back at the office, which interferes with their family life. It also becomes a reason for conflict with the spouse at times, leading to misunderstandings.
The inability to give quality time to children and family add to the woes of depression in women. Their biological factors, like the menstrual cycle and mood swings during hormonal changes, also develop psychological issues for women along with coping with the work pressure.
