Traumatic events that occur that happens in anyone’s life can have a very debilitating effect. The horrifying memories of that event can haunt the person, again and again, throwing away normalcy from their lives.
Trauma can be both physical and mental, but in the end, it has more of a psychological effect on the person, be it in any form.

Traumatic events can happen right from accident, physical and mental abuse, rape, sexual assault, bullying, death of a person, and witnessing a riot or war and other things like that.
The memories of traumatic events cannot be erased from the mind, but they can be suppressed to a certain extent so that they cannot interfere in your everyday life.
Trauma can cause numerous issues in the life of the person and does not allow him or her to lead it peacefully. It generally causes Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which can show some nasty symptoms like:

·       Raised blood pressure
·       Increased sweating
·       Loss of appetite
In people who suffer from the issue of PTSD, they usually experience problems like nightmares, scary flashbacks, avoiding things or places that can remind them of the past event and even panic attacks.
People with this issue also have sleep disturbances, poor concentration, depression, and emotional numbing. At times to counter their horrifying memories, they resort to drug and alcohol abuse.
Severe PTSD issues need psychological counselings and therapy for the treatment of this problem. The anti-depressant like Etilaam and Etizolam might be helpful in addressing the depression caused by the issue of PTSD.
Support of family and friends also play a crucial role in managing the problem. As mentioned earlier, the memories of the traumatic event might never go away completely, but by opting for these methods can prevent the overwhelming effect of the problem.
